Job Description:

Use SolidWorks to design highly complex electro-mechanical subsystems to be integrated into the main production system. Conceive, design, model and prototype machined components and mechanisms that are subjected to high temperature/pressure environments. Devise solutions for machine interface and mechanical challenges that occur in static and dynamic subsystems. Create 3D models and drawings for components, structures and subsystems and oversee fabrication through our highly skilled in-house machine shop. Responsible for assembly, test and integration of designs with other mating subsystems.

Responsibilities:

• Designing subsystems and complex rotating equipment systems
• Specifying and testing electromechanical components
• Designing, prototyping, testing engineered systems
• Documentation of 3D modeling, design work and 2D drawings of developed programs
• Identifying and selecting components (solenoids, relays, indicators, sensors, etc.) to be used in the final system configuration
• Testing, recording data, report documentation and making improvements to the current prototype design

Experience/Education:

• BSME or equivalent, MS preferred
• 10+ years work experience in related engineering environment
• Intermediate to advanced Solid Works skills
• Experience with electromechanical components and assemblies
• Creative personality and problem solver
• Hands on, proactive individual that can work in a fast paced team environment
